Welcome to Lenawee Christian Academy
We are honored that you are considering our ACSI-accredited, online academy for your child. As you explore the possibilities and perhaps decide to apply, my goal is to make the admissions process an easy and enjoyable one.
We know that flexibility is important to you and therefore offer rolling admissions. This means that we admit students throughout the year and are not tied to a typical school calendar. Upon acceptance, your child can start with a full course load in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade or can take one or two courses as a supplement to your ongoing homeschool program.
I am here to guide you through each step and answer your questions along the way. Let’s get started!

Steps to Enrollment
Step 1: Start Your Online Application
A non-refundable fee of $50 per student application is due upon submission.
Step 2: Upload required documents
You can easily upload documents to your online application.
- Immunization/health records
- Birth certificate
- School records
Step 3: Receive acceptance notification
Within a few days, you will be notified of your child’s acceptance status.
Step 4: Schedule an interview
We’ll help you schedule an entrance interview with our admissions team. We want to get to know your family and your child. We’ll ask questions about your child’s scheduling preferences, learning style, subject interests, and personality. Our education experts will put together a mySequence plan tailored just for your son or daughter!
Step 5: Complete enrollment
Complete the enrollment process by choosing your child’s core courses, electives, and setting up your tuition payment plan using our FACTS platform.
Step 6: Meet your mentor teacher
Meet with your child’s mentor teacher to review your mySequence plan, participate in the Canvas preview to get up to speed on using our learning management platform, and determine a cadence for school and home communication.
Step 7: Your student is ready to begin classes!
A Word About Homeschooling
Each state has its own set of requirements for parents to be able to provide instruction for their child in the home rather than a traditional school setting. LCA monitors and understands homeschool laws and regulations across America to be able to help you meet the requirements of your state.
In many states, you choose one of three paths when joining the LCA community; Private School, Umbrella School, or Homeschool Tutorial. During the registration process, you will work with our Admission Department to see which option works best for your situation. You can also find more information from our friends at the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA).
